Sherry F. Colb is Professor of Law and Charles Evans Hughes Scholar at Cornell University, where she teaches and writes about animal rights, criminal procedure and evidence.  She is a graduate of Columbia College and Harvard Law School, as well as a former law clerk to the late Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun. Before coming to Cornell, Sherry was a faculty member at Rutgers University and has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Columbia Law School.  Mind If I Order the Cheeseburger?  is her second book.  Her first was When Sex Counts: Making Babies and Making Law.  Sherry writes about animal rights and other issues in her bi-weekly column for the web journal Verdict and she blogs at DorfonLaw. Sherry lives in Ithaca, New York with her husband, two daughters and three mixed-breed rescue dogs.
